Greenco Tech AB is pleased to share that the company has received grant support from the Swedish Energy Agency to accelerate its work with smart, modular high-temperature thermal energy storage and energy management.
The project focuses on a modular multi-vector high-temperature thermal battery solution for flexible energy systems, with relevance for district heating, industrial energy users and future hybrid energy infrastructure.
In the Swedish Energy Agency’s assessment, the project was recognised for its high level of innovation and credible implementation plan, with a focus on maturing the concept, validating customer needs, clarifying energy and climate benefits, and strengthening the foundation for pilot planning and investment readiness.
Starting in March 2026, the support strengthens Greenco Tech AB’s path toward a short-term pre-pilot, intended to serve as a reference for future pilot deployments, customer validation and partnership dialogues in district heating and industry.
For Greenco Tech AB, this is an important step in building a stronger validation pathway for flexible, bankable and scalable thermal energy storage solutions.
