Greenco Modular Energy Hub

THERMAL FLEXIBILITY FOR COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS

Smart Energy Integration Centred on Thermal Storage

Greenco Tech AB is developing a compact modular energy platform centred on thermal energy storage and intelligent system integration. The Greenco Modular Energy Hub is designed to help commercial properties use renewable electricity more effectively by storing energy as useful heat, coordinating with EV charging and complementary electrical assets, and delivering thermal energy when demand and value are highest.

Buildings Need Flexibility, Not Only More Equipment

Commercial properties increasingly combine rooftop solar PV, electric vehicle charging, heating systems and other flexible electrical loads. Yet solar electricity is not always available when thermal demand is highest, while simultaneous demand may increase peak-power exposure and grid pressure.

The Greenco Modular Energy Hub is being developed to coordinate these energy flows around a thermal storage core, converting available clean electricity into dependable thermal value for the building.

One Compact Platform, Coordinated Energy Flows

Thermal storage is the platform’s physical core. Electricity from solar PV or the grid can be converted into stored heat for later building use. Complementary electrical assets and intelligent control can support greater site flexibility over time.

Thermal Storage Core

Stores energy as useful heat for later delivery to the building’s thermal system.

Renewable Electricity Input

Uses locally generated solar electricity and flexible grid inputs when thermal storage creates value.

Intelligent Control

Coordinates charging, storage and thermal delivery according to site demand and operating conditions.

EV Charging Coordination

Supports coordinated energy management across building demand and electric mobility loads.

Complementary Battery Storage

Adds faster electrical response and extended flexibility where site needs and economics justify it.

Building Heat Delivery

Dispatches stored thermal energy to support heating demand when it is needed and valuable.

Designed to Create Value for Property Owners

Use More Local Renewable Energy

Convert available solar electricity into useful stored heat for later building use.

Support Peak-Power Management

Coordinate thermal storage and flexible loads to reduce simultaneous electricity-demand pressure.

Strengthen Heating Flexibility

Deliver stored thermal energy when demand, prices or site conditions make it most valuable.

Prepare for Smart Energy Services

Create a foundation for future data-driven optimisation and coordinated energy services.

Initial Application Focus

The first development focus is commercial and property-energy applications where thermal demand, renewable electricity production and flexible electrical loads can be evaluated together in real operating environments.

Commercial Properties

Buildings combining solar PV, EV charging and useful thermal demand.

Real Estate Portfolios

Modular configurations with future potential for replication across multiple sites.

Energy and Innovation Partners

Partners interested in customer-oriented verification and scalable energy-system collaboration.

From Deep-Tech R&D to Customer-Oriented Verification

Greenco Tech AB is advancing its modular thermal storage and system-integration capabilities through prototype development, controlled testing and preparation for customer-oriented verification. The objective is to validate technical operation, system integration and customer value before wider commercial deployment.

Scalable Applications

A Platform Designed to Grow with the Energy System

The initial building-scale configuration is centred on thermal storage, renewable electricity integration, EV charging coordination and intelligent control. Over time, the modular architecture may be extended with complementary battery storage, recovered heat inputs, advanced thermal modules, cooling pathways and broader multi-energy services.
